Position: IT Specialist

Description: We are looking for an IT specialist to join our Client's Development
team. Our client builds enterprise software for a contact center market, developing and testing products to operate
in complex environments. Your role is to maintain a smoothly running development and testing environment to ensure
that the development team has all of the resources they need to execute on their deliverables. You will also have
responsibilities for the deployment and management of cloud components of the our product deployed in AWS.
The ideal candidate should be strong in one of the key areas identified below and be
able and willing to adapt to requirements in other areas.
Cisco Telephony Support:
- Setting up, configuring and maintaining Cisco contact center telephone infrastructure (UCCE/UCCX/PCCE/HCS)
used for development
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with Cisco telephony infrastructure
Networking and Machine Management:
- Setting up AWS and VMware VMs, configuring and maintaining systems for Developers, QA and system testing
- VMware/AWS scripting
- Managing Meraki network infrastructure used by Development
- Generating SSL certificates and troubleshooting certificate issues
- Maintaining and updating base machine images (Windows, Visual Studio, .NET framework)
- Monitoring usage and updates of VMs by members of the Development team and communicating updates to team
members to ensure all VMs are kept current
- Assisting in the deployment and configuration of network environments used for system and load testing
- Submitting and following up on support tickets with vendors and suppliers
Cloud:
- Managing cloud infrastructure for cloud-deployed components
- Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud-based production, pre-production and dev
environments, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of environments.
- Scripting existing and new infrastructure using repeatable Amazon CloudFormation scripts.Developing a deep
understanding of system configuration and assisting in the development of best practices for production
- Be prepared to assess and evaluate other Cloud provision options such as Microsoft Azure
